It all started with witnessing the same cycles of urban renewal leading to displacement. Collective Impact was founded by Bria Francisco, who spent over a decade working in affordable housing and community development. Frustrated by the inefficiencies that slowed down neighborhood revitalization efforts, she saw how complex processes and disjointed systems made it difficult for both communities and developers to bring projects to life. Determined to change this, she set out to build a streamlined framework that simplifies strategic planning, reduces repetitive manual tasks, and provides clarity on each step of the community engagement process.
